A Stroll Through UGA + Athens Botanical Gardens Engagement Session

Recently I joined Crystal and JP on an adventure around Athens, Georgia for their engagement session. We started our day visiting Athens Botanical Gardens also known as UGA State Botanical Gardens. Here we checked out all of the flowers, trees, and other nature the gardens had to offer while taking photos along the way. We learned some, got bitten by mosquitos, and seen some pretty interesting things. I’m not going to lie, it was hot as hell and we all just about melted. But it was still a blast and we got some rad photos, so it was definitely a win!

Afterward, we made our way into town while debating on either stopping by the bar first or last. Since it was still early in the day, we decided to hit up the local comic shop, Bizarro-Wuxtry Comics, to look through the offerings and check out the toys. They had a lot of really cool toys from my childhood (late 80s-90s) that I really wanted for my son Mason, but I left empty-handed. I especially liked the Snoopy Snowcone Maker. :) The comic shop also offered some interesting lighting and an old warehouse/library feel for photos, so of course, we took advantage of that. We then made our way to UGA for some photos and exploration of the campus, before heading to a local bar for some great beer, conversation, photos, and people watching, before heading to dinner.
