Recently I shot some spring fashion portraits at Old Car City in White, Georgia. This place was pretty awesome with over 4000 cars and trucks all in one location. They obviously are not new cars by any means, but more of a collection of decay. Some might see it as junk, but it’s really more of organized history. As many of you already know, I’m really into exploring urban decay and abandoned locations, so for me, it’s the perfect place for a portrait session.
The morning started off soggy since it rained the night before and some of the morning, but we made due as we trudged through the mud. The place is really big with 6 miles of trails, so you can get lost pretty easily. Half the time we had no clue where we were in relation to the entrance, but that really only mattered when we were trying to leave.
We spent a lot of time just walking around, taking in the different things, looking for inspiration, and sometimes just playing with stuff. There were so many cars, trucks, cars on top of trucks, broken things, dangerous things, toys, and plenty of other things to entertain us for days. Lots of possibilities and options.
Here is some of the spring fashion portraits awesomeness we ended up with.
Wow these are really stunning. Very magazine looking. I love them. :D
Some really incredible work man. Keep it up!
I’m in love! Such sexy images without being trashy. If you are ever in Nevada I’d love to set up a session with you. :)
Awesome work as usual.
Hey Mathew, some more great shots, you never seem to be short of great locations or attractive models / clients. Stumbled accross your site following a post on Twitter, will come back and visit again
Thanks a lot Tony! It’s not easy finding locations and planning out the logistics, but I think it pays off. :)
