Amber and Nick met six years ago at a party through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. When planning their engagement session, we wanted to incorporate their love for music concerts, but finding a fitting venue was tougher than anticipated. Nonetheless, we went another direction and focused on their passion for beer, food, and enjoying life with a day on the town.
We made our way around Marietta Square taking advantage of the different lighting situations, textures, colors, alleys, and unique building architecture. While we were out, we stopped off at MacCracken’s Celtic Pub for a beer. Any engagement session that includes beer is always extra awesome! We followed up the beer with ice cream. I’m not sure beer and ice cream really go together, but no one complained. Amber and Nick definitely have a special chemistry as they were always able to make each other laugh regardless of what was going on around them.
We finished off the day in the middle of the street in front of the Strand Theatre as the last rays of the sun began to filter through the trees. Afterwards we all went out for some pretty tasty pizza. Here are a few of my favorite photos.
