Bride's shoes & bouquet

Earlier this year I had set some goals I wanted to accomplish and with KyAnne and Brett’s wedding I was able to cross off: shoot a beach wedding, shoot a wedding in Savannah, and travel more then three hours for a wedding. KyAnne and Brett’s beach wedding on Tybee Island in Savannah,Georgia was nothing short of awesome! This being my first beach wedding, I was extra excited. I was joined by my good friend, Zack, who shot video for the wedding. We left Atlanta at 7am to make the close to 5 hour journey to Savannah. The weather called for 40% chance of storms, so we were monitoring it the whole time. We made great time, so we decided to cruise around exploring and ended up in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Go figure. :) When we arrived back in Savannah it was already sprinkling and moving into rain, so I was beginning to become less optimistic about a beach wedding. Amazingly, after raining on/off for a few hours, everything cleared up completely only moments before the ceremony was due to start. It was extremely windy, but that didn’t stop anyone from coming to the sunny beach for the wedding. After the ceremony, we moved to the pier for the reception. Plenty of food, dancing, and celebrating kept the curious spectators passing by just as excited as the wedding party. The night ended with an incredible display of extremely white lightening striking out at sea. Afterwords, KyAnne, Brett, and their family / friends were kind enough to take Zack and I out to show their appreciation. I honestly don’t think anyone could have planned, or asked for, a more magical wedding.
