Flaviane and Pedro are both from Brazil, but never met each other until they moved to the United States. They met at their local church here in Atlanta. It’s honestly pretty amazing to think about how close they both lived to each other in Brazil, but it took a move to the US to bring them together! For their engagement session, we spent the day at Soap Creek and Paper Mill Ruins walking the trails and checking out the cool history.
We would stop at different spots along the way to relax and capture some great moments. As with most of my sessions, I always seem to end up filthy. After laying in dirt, climbing rocks, and making my way into the middle of the river for unique perspectives, this one was no exception.
We had an amazing time, but we were exhausted by the end of the day. You don’t seem to realize how far you hike until you’re too tired to make it back. Unfortunately, the pollen count was also so out of control that day that I was itching and sneezing all over the place and my camera and I were both covered in yellow pollen plague.
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session.
