A Romantic And Secluded Desert Destination Arizona Wedding

I first met Danielle and Matt through A Practical Wedding. We set up a FaceTime chat and hit it off right away. They started talking about their Arizona wedding plans, pizza, dogs, and love for adventure. From there, I was sold and honored to photograph their amazing wedding. The weather that day couldn’t have been more perfect for an outdoor wedding in the middle of the desert. On thing is for sure, you can not get married at a place like Kartchner Caverns State Park and not take advantage of the remarkable scenery.

Danielle and Matt’s wedding was designed to be an awesome celebration with loving family and friends. They kept it intimate and included many personal touches, such as Danielle’s blush wedding dress, mixed gender bridal parties, an Italian food buffet and pizza truck, and dinosaur wedding favors. Most everything way DIY and they had a little help from Best Friends Borrowed. They actually grew their own flowers to make the bouquets! I thought that was pretty impressive and they looked amazing. Once everyone was ready, we all headed to the desert to finish some final touches and get the ceremony started. The ceremony was warm and romantic with late evening sun as they exchanged vows. They also included a salt ceremony as part of their commitment to each other and ended the whole thing with Ozzy Osbourne’s Crazy Train. Afterwards everyone headed to the reception to relax and eat some amazing food. We spent a good amount of time really working together to create some unique photos. Danielle and Matt were total troopers and knew that it takes a lot of work to create great photos. Despite the heat, cactus, and wild animals; we hiked the canyon in full wedding garb, to get high in the mountain terrain. They even climbed a steep rocky cliff just so we could get the best photos! We finished the evening off with some photos under the stars.

It was a long, exciting weekend for everyone, and I had the absolute best time hanging out with Danielle and Matt, as well as their rad family and friends. Great food, drinks, love, and amazing people all hanging out in the middle of the desert for one incredible Arizona wedding! Thank you Danielle and Matt for welcoming me into your lives and allowing me to be a part of your big day!
