Jamelia and Donell have been dating for years long distance as Jamelia lives in Atlanta and Donell lives in Iowa. Through tons of video chats and flying back and forth almost every weekend, they’ve made it work really well. Luckily they both love to travel, so it made things that much easier. For their engagement session we really wanted to tie in their long-distance relationship and their passion for travel, so a trip to the Delta Flight Museum was the perfect fit! As often as I fly, I’ve never actually been to the museum before, so it was exciting to get to experience that as well.

The museum itself was super cool with actual planes to check out and even one you could get on to not only in the main cabin areas, but also the cockpit. Of course there’s tons of great information on the planes, flight, and the history of Delta. Jamelia and Donell seemed to love it, but more so loving every second together. We made our way around the museum and though too huge, compared to other museums, it offered a lot of really unique photo opportunities, including actually getting under one of the planes.
