A Christmas Brooklyn New York Engagement Destination Session

Brooklyn New York skyline from subway bridge at engagement session Right before Christmas and the rest of the holidays, Jessica and I hopped a plane and headed to Brooklyn New York for Lori and Dan’s engagement session. We met Lori and Dan early in the morning at their favorite diner, Cobble Hill Coffee Shop, where they have breakfast every Sunday. We all ended up getting eggs with toast and plenty of coffee to get energized for the day. Being winter, it was pretty cold too, so the coffee helped with that as well. We made our way around Brooklyn and Lori and Dan gave us an in-depth tour of their amazing neighborhood. Next, we stopped at one of their favorite places for general shopping to check out Christmas trees. Lori and Dan had a ton of fun playing with the trees and making each other laugh non-stop.

Couple in window at Cobble Hill Coffee Shop in Brooklyn New York Dan is a part time DJ and spends tons of time at one of their favorite local record shops Black Gold Records, so of course we had to stop there. We spent a large amount of time going through all of the records, talking about our favorite music, and learning about some of the details of what Dan does. The day continued to get colder, so more coffee and food. We opted for Brooklyn pizza of course before jumping on the Subway to make our way towards Manhattan. We finished up their session featuring some of their favorite neighborhood graffiti in the Dumbo area. Later that night we met back up with Lori and Dan at their friend’s bar, Strong Rope, which features craft beer invented and made right there! We sampled a ton of the beers and they really had some amazing ones. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!
