Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

I know wedding planning can be hard and choosing the perfect wedding venue is an important first step in creating your dream wedding day. Over the years we have had the pleasure of shooting a lot of weddings at some of the most amazing venues, so to help you choose the perfect wedding venue, here are some of our thoughts on Atlanta wedding venue Proctor Farm in Rome, Georgia.Bride's wedding dress hanging in barn window at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewWedding details at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewProctor Farm sign at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

If you are looking for a rustic, untraditional farm in Georgia, Proctor Farm in Rome would be a great place to start looking. Located about 1 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Proctor Farm offers almost endless potential for creating your amazing wedding day. There is a ton of room for you and just about a limitless number of guests. One of the best parts about Proctor Farm is it’s actually lived on and family owned/operated, so it’s a lot more personal than other venues might be. This is always a plus when searching for a venue because you are not just another number, you’re truly valued and cared for just like family.Wedding ceremony at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewBride and groom standing at alter at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

Proctor Farm offers separate getting ready locations that are located a decent distance away from each other, so you will have plenty of room and avoid seeing each other before the ceremony with ease. This also allows the perfect setup for a first look, allowing everyone to get into position in a variety of different locations.Bride standing in field holding long veil at sunset at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

When it comes to the ceremony, there are a few different options. Many people opt for an outdoor ceremony utilizing the timber framed wedding altar area complete with thirty-six wooden benches, and a large wedding bell to announce the couple. Of course being in Georgia and depending on the time of year, you never know if it will rain, so Proctor Farm has an indoor option as well.Wagon wedding details at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewCandy bar at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewBirdcage and wagon wedding details at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

The indoor chapel features 1800 square feet, with beautiful stained glass windows, and twenty wooden pews. The chapel itself was built with actual timber off the property. If you are not a fan of outdoor weddings, then this is a great option regardless of the weather.Smores bar and campfire at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewFall floral table center pieces at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewBarn wedding reception setup at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

One thing I really appreciate is how they truly personalize the experience. In your wedding venue search, you might have noticed some venues will hold multiple weddings a weekend or even on the same day! Proctor Farm, like us, truly believes in providing an exceptional experience and only accepts one wedding a week. You not only have Proctor Farm for the day, but they actually start your experience on Monday and it ends on Sunday. No stress or being rushed here.Fall table setting reception details at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewSalon wedding details at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia ReviewBar salon wedding reception setup at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

The wedding venue Proctor Farm also does an amazing job supplying you with everything you need, taking a ton of stress and time off your hands. From the rehearsal to tables, chairs, linens, and everything else you might need, they have it. Another thing I love about Proctor Farm is how much detail they have put into their venue. Each part of the property is well thought out and decorated.Bride and groom dancing at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm wedding venueGroom dancing at reception at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm In Georgia Review

The reception is held at the High Lonesome Saloon that’s well detailed in a western theme complete with a stage for your band or DJ. Another notable mention is they do not include a florist, photographer, catering, band, or DJ. This allows you to choose the exact vendors that are a perfect fit for you. Some venues try to stuff couples in a box forcing you to choose only their “approved” vendors giving you limited options to choose from. Of course many will let you choose an outside vendor but at an extra cost.

Wedding venue Proctor Farm seems to take care of just about everything and offers a lot of options, so if you’re looking for a venue with some rustic charm, check them out. Bride and groom sparkler exit at Atlanta Wedding Venue Proctor Farm wedding venue
