I recently met up with Dylan and Abraham for their Arabia Mountain engagement session and it was totally amazing! The whole day called for storms. Although it ended up not raining, the ominous storm clouds stayed around mixing with the sunset to create some amazing skies! We started deep in the woods near a lake and slowly made our way through the interesting barren landscape that looked like a mix of the desert and Mars. The mountain was used as quarry for granite and some of the reminisce still remains. Like most everyone, Dylan and Abraham felt like they were not photogenic, but I would argue otherwise. After just a few minutes together, their personalities and love for each other quickly started to shine. We spent a few hours exploring the mountain totally unaware of the history, so it all seemed extremely odd. We laughed as we came up with the craziest ideas of what we thought about the mountain. From murders to Mars missions, we pretty much covered it all. Lol. Only later did we find out the actual history of Arabia Mountain.
I’m really looking forward to Dylan and Abraham’s Atlanta wedding at Parish ATL! Here are a few of my favorite photos from their Arabia Mountain engagement session. My name is Matt Druin and I’m an Atlanta wedding photographer that specializes in unique, offbeat weddings for all awesome people! Not only do I shoot amazing Atlanta weddings, but I also travel frequently for destination weddings, and weddings all over, with no travel fees in the US for amazing wedding photography.
