When I first met with April she described her and Chris’s wedding to me as modern, chic, and glamorous. I think she was exactly right in that description.

We started the day meeting at the Midtown W Hotel in Atlanta where April got ready in her private room. It was only April, Roohi the makeup artist, and myself which created a very intimate and relaxing feel to the atmosphere. It was unusual to not have all of the bridesmaids and family in the room. April’s satin dress with embroidered lace from Alfred Angelo and Badgley Mischka heels were a perfect complement to her day as well.

Chris, his groomsmen, and April’s bridesmaids all got ready at a different location and showed up later in the day just in time for the first look. Chris and April had their first look in the W Hotel lobby which was perfect since at the time, nobody was occupying the space. We then moved into a small ally across the street for some portraits before making our way to the ceremony.

The ceremony was lit with hints of pink and purple uplighting to add to the chic, modern feel. With ten bridesmaids and ten groomsmen, the ceremony location was definitely filled. After the ceremony we all headed to the reception on the 27th floor of the W Hotel. The reception was lit with purple and pink uplighting as well and the tables were decorated with touches of modern elegance. After everyone finished eating and the introductions were made, the party got started and lasted long into the night. Here are a few of my personal favorites.
