Brides Shoes & Jewelry

I started shooting weddings slightly backwards from most and never had the opportunity to second shoot or even assist at a wedding before shooting my own. When my good friends, Betty & Zac of FengLong Photography, asked me to join them over the weekend to second shoot a Russian wedding, I jumped all over it! I had a great time second shooting and I was excited to have so much creative freedom. It was a nice change from always being the primary photographer.

Anna & Armando’s wedding was awesome! I have shot cultured weddings before, but this is the first Russian wedding I have shot, or attended for that matter. It was similar, in many ways to a traditional American wedding, but there were many differences as well. It was also really cool to hear most everything in English and Russian too. This was also the first time I’ve seen a groom tear up. The reception at the Reception Hall International in Marietta was a blast as well. So there you have it. Awesome wedding, great friends, and new experiences! What could be better?

Here are some of my favorite images from their day.
