A few weeks ago my friend Steve and I went to the Masquerade to hang out with A: The Color and then stayed for the show. We got there real early, so the night started out slow, but was a blast meeting with everyone, small talking, and watching the show get put together. I guess if you’re not in the industry you don’t realize what a pain and how long it takes to get equipment set up, tested, ect. It was a long process.
Of course, A: The Color was awesome and The Orkids were actually really good as well. I would definitely suggest checking out both bands. Although it was extremely crowed and overly hot, I pushed through to get the photos I thought the band would want and need. Sometimes it was especially hard shooting in the crowed photographer pit area with people bumping you and knocking you in the head with equipment. Overall, it was an extremely great time. Here are just a few of my favorite photos from the night.
The Orkids also played that night; here a few photos from their performance.
