After dealing with tons of constriction and getting lost somewhere on a small mountain, I finally made the semi-long drive up to Chattanooga, TN where I had the pleasure of meeting up with Donna & Chase for their engagement session. We started the day off at Coolidge Park just walking around exploring with some casual conversation. We would stop here and there to take a few photos to warm them up to the camera a bit.
They both claimed to be pretty camera shy, as most everyone does, but by the time we reached the walking bridge to head to the other side of the river they were naturals. Even with a number of people passing us on the bridge and congratulating them, they didn’t seem phased. We made our way over to the Tennessee Aquarium where we thought it would be a great idea to get into the water that flowed down the stairs outside. It was probably a lot more of my encouragement, but both Donna and Chase were pretty quick to get in.
Being pretty warm, almost hot, the water was still very cold. We all suffered through it and got some great photos though. By the end, we managed to attract a small crowd of curious onlookers. After drying our feet we quickly headed back to get to our cars before we got tickets for expired meters. We then finished off the day with some great food at the Big River Grill & Brewing Works.
